On May 4th 2009, the tradition continued as the 23rd Annual Arizona Leader Dogs Classic was held at the private Ancala Country Club in North Scottsdale, AZ.
The Classic has grown substantially over the years and this year’s event exceeded virtually every past level of achievement. Over 115 golfers participated in the tournament and the gross contributions from the two day event exceeded $60,000.

- $600 per foursome ($150 for individuals)
- Four Golfer Scramble Format – Rules were provided on carts
- Donation includes (per player)
- Round of golf
- Golf cart
- Event golf shirt
- Gift bag
- Box lunch
- Dinner
- Mulligan and Raffle tickets were sold at registration
- Various contest and other opportunities were offered on-site
- Both silent and live auctions took place in conjunction with the golf event dinner.
Golf Information:
- 10:00 AM – Driving range opened for event participants
- Coffee in the lobby and additional services were available
- 11:00 AM – Event registration and box lunches (in the lobby)
- 11:15 AM - Event contests started
- 12:00 Noon – Shotgun start
- 5:00 PM – Dinner in the Ballroom with auctions to follow
Guests were cordially invited too attend the dinner and auction even if they did not play golf. The fee was $40 per person.
